Job Description
Bill Jarrett Ford in Avon Park is growing and has an immediate opening for multiple experienced Automotive Sales Professionals.
We offer the best schedule and a competitive pay plan in Highlands County.
Our hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 7:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, and closed Sundays. Additionally, you get a day off during the week.
The pay plan is $13.00/hr plus commissions and a monthly bonus on top!!!
Commissions are paid weekly !!
Most importantly, we have the inventory and the opportunities. There are a variety of new and used vehicles in stock, and you get internet leads, phone ups and walk-ins. There are 6 other stores within the Jarrett family. So, sales staff have an endless number of opportunities to sell vehicles even when the inventory is not located in Avon Park.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Expertly helps the customer locate/select a vehicle and the options best suited to the customer's needs
- Articulates vehicle selection, attributes, model options, features, purchase and finance options, and dealership policies/services
- Responsibly conducts a vehicle test drive
- Negotiates sale closure in a clear, concise, and highly ethical fashion
- Completes all sales documentation in a comprehensive and accurate manner
- Facilitates delivery by providing a clear explanation of the vehicle and operational features, warranty, and servicing requirements
- Maintains current knowledge of all promotions, financing options, value-added products/services, servicing plans, and industry trends
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education or coursework desired
- Verifiable sales performance (any industry)
- Negotiation expertise
- Demonstrated ability to close sales
- Able to hold yourself accountable and achieve goals with limited direct supervision
- Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment
- Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills
- An impressive work ethic
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance
- Minimum one year auto sales experience
