Job Summary:
The Pipe Foreman is responsible for overseeing and managing the installation of underground utilities, including water, sewer, and storm drainage systems. This role involves supervising crews, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining project schedules, and coordinating with project managers and contractors to achieve project goals efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a crew in the installation of various underground piping systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans.
- Ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Monitor and enforce safety regulations, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
- Operate and oversee the use of heavy equipment, including excavators and backhoes.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, inspectors, and project managers to facilitate project completion.
- Maintain accurate records of job progress, personnel, and equipment usage.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues as they arise.
- Train and mentor crew members, ensuring their adherence to industry best practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
