About the Role :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Associate to join our team. This vital role ensures our organization's compliance with regulations and industry standards, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professionalism. Reporting to the Compliance Manager, the Compliance Associate will collaborate across departments to maintain and enhance our compliance efforts.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct periodic audits of medical allotments and other compliance areas, identifying discrepancies and ensuring adherence to regulations.
- Manage facility agent linking, unlinking, renewals, and permissions.
- Utilize compliance auditing software for monitoring and reporting purposes.
- Assist in auditing inventory, visitor, trip, disposal, and waste logs.
- Collaborate on policy and procedure updates, aligning with regulatory changes.
- Train employees on compliance policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Support the preparation and execution of regulatory audits.
- Manage compliance communications and guide new employees through compliance processes such as fingerprinting and Facility Agent Card applications.
- Represent JARS Cannabis at job fairs and other outreach activities as needed.
