Job Summary:
Working under the Director of Inventory, this person's main responsibility is ensuring that inventory orders are accurately received into the POS for all JARS Locations within a timely manner from our Headquarters location. This position also requires the ability to maintain the company wide inventory email and follow up on invoice discrepancies, keeping track of discrepancies and maintaining accurate records. This position places high premiums on effective teamwork, clear communication, initiative, and intelligent judgement. Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
- Input product received to the stores into current inventory tracking software in a timely manner
- Ensure invoice matches manifest description; escalate to management to ensure corrective action is taken when needed
- Maintain active knowledge of incoming inventory
- Manages data entry into Dutchie and METRC
- Ensure all inventory reconciliation is regularly completed and submitted to METRC accurately
- Coordinates invoice discrepancies with the Purchasing Department
- Oversee that METRC and Dutchie platforms are being accurately managed and maintained for accuracy of data
- Effectively communicate with Retail Locations to ensure inventory is accurate before receiving into METRC and Dutchie
- Finalize sales in METRC after confirming accuracy in Dutchie
- Completes other assignments, tasks and duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Previous experience in data entry position is required
- Knowledge and familiarity with cannabis software Dutchie and METRC
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent organization skills, with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills; ability to correspond in a professional and businesslike manner
- Effective multitasker with demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks
- Solid computer skills including Microsoft office products
- Ability to work overtime as business needs dictate
Desired Previous Job Experience
- High school education or equivalent
- Additional training in computer products and hardware
- Work experience in the cannabis industry
Education Level: High School Diploma/GED Desired
