This role is crucial in ensuring our customers feel welcomed and safe from the moment they enter our doors.
The Host at JARS Cannabis will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment. This role involves customer service, crowd management, and maintaining a safe and secure environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
PAY: Starting at $18 shared tip pool
SCHEDULE: 5 days on, 8-hour shifts with 2 days off.
Shifts included: Morning shift 6:30AM-2:30PM, Mid shift 11am-7pm, Closing shift 2:30pm-10:30pm
(At El Mirage Thursday-Saturday closing shifts 3:30pm-12:30am)

Key Responsibilities
- Customer Greeting: Warmly greet customers as they enter JARS Cannabis, offering assistance and information about our products and services.
- ID Verification: Ensure all customers are of legal age by verifying identification at the entrance.
- Queue Management: Monitor and manage customer flow and wait times, ensuring an orderly and efficient entry process.
- Safety Monitoring: Observe and report any unusual activities or behaviors to ensure a secure environment.
- Emergency Response: Assist in handling emergencies and evacuations, following established protocols.
- Customer Assistance: Provide information and assistance to customers, directing them to appropriate staff members for product inquiries.
- General Support: Assist with opening and closing procedures, including securing the premises.
- Previous experience in a customer service and security-related role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
