Sales Representative Role

JARS Cannabis is a rapidly growing organization dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and promoting a positive experience for our customers.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Sales Representative. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and passionate group of individuals who are dedicated to excellence in all aspects of their work.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
• Provide product knowledge and make recommendations to customers to meet their individual requirements.
• Use suggestive selling strategies to upsell products and enhance customer experience.
• Assist with inventory tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Work scheduled shifts and adhere to company attendance policies.
• Follow all safety and CRA rules policies.
• Promote JARS' loyalty program and referrals to customers.
• Record transactions accurately and manage cash drawers efficiently.
• Perform opening and closing duties as needed.
• Escalate customer issues to upper management when necessary.
• Maintain a positive attitude and treat customers and colleagues with respect.
• Ensure the sales floor remains clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Fills in when short-staffed and willing to be cross-trained.
• Follows JARS company policies and procedures.
• Responds to customer and coworker needs promptly and appropriately.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in retail, sales, or hospitality.
• Awareness of cannabis strains and applications.
• Cannabis industry or health industry experience preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Basic math skills required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required.
