Key Responsibilities
- Assess customer needs and provide product knowledge to meet individual requirements.
- Use suggestive selling strategies to upsell products and enhance customer experience.
- Take constructive criticism and coaching from upper management to improve performance.
- Assist with inventory tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Work scheduled shifts and adhere to company attendance policies.
- Follow all safety and CRA rules policies.
- Promote JARS' loyalty program and referrals to customers.
- Record transactions accurately and manage cash drawers efficiently.
- Perform opening and closing duties as needed.
- Escalate customer issues to upper management when necessary.
- Maintain a positive attitude and treat customers and colleagues with respect.
- Ensure the sales floor remains clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Fills in when short-staffed and willing to be cross-trained.
- Follows JARS company policies and procedures.
- Responds to customer and coworker needs promptly and appropriately.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in retail, sales, or hospitality.
- Awareness of cannabis strains and applications.
- Cannabis industry or health industry experience preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Basic math skills required.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required.
