Job Summary
Jaru Associates is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Printer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various printing equipment and ensuring the highest quality of printed materials. This role requires a strong understanding of printing processes, color management, and layout design.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain printing presses, ensuring optimal performance and quality output.
  • Collaborate with the prepress team to prepare files for printing, including layout design and typography adjustments.
  • Monitor print jobs for quality control, making necessary adjustments to color management and print settings as needed.
  • Fabricate and assemble printed materials according to project specifications.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on printing equipment to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Implement screen printing techniques when required, adhering to project timelines and deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in printing technology.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a printing role, with a strong understanding of machining processes related to printing.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly in programs relevant to print design such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Knowledge of quality control measures in the printing process, including color management techniques.
  • Familiarity with typography principles and layout design best practices.
  • Experience with screen printing is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.

Pay: $16.16 - $17.46 per hour
