The Department’s Criminal Justice Program offers an Associate degree in Criminal Justice, a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, and a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice. The salary for the position is competitive.QUALIFICATIONS :
- PhD in Criminal Justice / Criminology or a closely related social science discipline, or a Juris Doctorate with a master’s degree in criminal justice / criminology or a closely related social science discipline.
- Experience in teaching undergraduate criminal justice classes is required.
- Show history or ability to publish peer-reviewed research articles and writing grants.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills are required.
- Pre-Employment screening is required : criminal background check and drug-testing.RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Perform teaching, scholarship, service, professional development, and program assessment for accreditation.
- Teach undergraduate criminal justice courses.
- Perform student advising and partake in student recruitment.
- Work collaboratively with other faculty, staff, and students to advance the mission of the Department and University.
