About the Role: We are seeking a part-time teacher for an 8-month commitment, teaching in-person once a month on Saturday from September to April. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching assigned subjects geared toward first-generation college-bound high school students, preparing them to achieve educational attainment, college readiness, and other goals set forth by the Upward Bound grant program.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement curriculum in STEM and Foreign Language subject areas.
- Create a positive learning environment that enhances student learning.
- Monitor student progress through formal and informal assessments.
- Work with Upward Bound staff to promote overall student achievement.
- Serve as a role model/mentor for Upward Bound students.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 2 years of teaching experience, preferably at a secondary level.
- Experience working with students from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds.
