2 privately-owned, full-service, small animal practices in the heart of Cleveland, OH, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. Open to full or part-time schedules at either practice with the option to work at both clinics, and flexible on compensation model. New grads welcomed!
Any clinical practice preferences can be accommodated - the owner is open to considering candidates who enjoy surgery and dentistry, or who prefer to see appointments only.
Access to high quality equipment including a new x-ray machine, 2 anesthesia machines, surgical laser, in-house lab, and more.
Scope:
- Determines the nature of disease or injury by examining pets; examining animals.
- Restores health by treating animals surgically or medically.
- Prevents rabies, brucellosis, and other disorders by testing animals and providing inoculations.
- Promotes health of animals by advising animal owners about sanitation measures, feeding, and general care.
- Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and animal records; reporting diseases to public health officials.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Enhances veterinary clinic reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution is required.
- State Veterinary Board License must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.
