What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plant Manager position at JAS Recruitment?
Experience:
- 2 or 4 year degree strongly preferred
- 5 years of management experience in industrial manufacturing environment
- Manage systems and activities to ensure compliance with OSHA, labor law, environmental regulations and corporate policies.
- Responsible for managing plant budgets and production costs
- Ensure quality, delivery and responsiveness in accordance with customer requirements
- Manage and monitor on-time delivery, productivity and cost targets
- Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives; utilize Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Green Belt or equivalent knowledge of Formal Quality and Productivity Improvement Processes
- Foster positive team morale and continuously motivate and develop floor-personnel
- Responsible for leading and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Drive continuous improvement and optimization of all plant processes to ensure plant production goals and costs are met.
- Utilize knowledge and experience with business and management principals, including but not limited to budgeting, strategic planning, human resources, and resource allocation
