Quality Assurance Engineer

A great career opportunity as a Quality Engineer is now available with a growing manufacturing medical device company. In this position you will supervise and maintain a quality assurance system for all manufactured products of the company. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of CAPA and ISO requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering required
• 2 years of quality engineering experience required
  
  

Duties:

• Performing solo CAPA management for relevant Quality CAPAs including Failure investigations, verification of effectiveness, implementation, and any needed training as a result of the CAPA activities.
• Initiate and facilitate continuous improvement projects for Quality Systems and support continuous improvement efforts from other departments as needed.
• Support quality processes, ensure the quality of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods
• Support continuous improvement quality initiatives for the department and staff
• Maintain a safe work environment, evaluate and investigate quality and safety issues
• Engage in and support major and minor internal and external audits, enter findings in the QMS’s Audit & CAPA modules, and ensure corrective actions are carried out in a timely manner and follow relevant ISO, FDA, and MDR requirements
• Manage technical product information across departments, data management and reporting for manufacturing departments, update and implement any new operating policies and procedures
• Continuously monitor and improve reliability levels and achieve top-notch quality in relation to customer specifications on manufactured products.
  
  

This position offers a compensation range between 60k – 80k base salary. This position is eligible for full benefits (health, vacation, 401k, etc). The company pays 100% of health insurance premiums. Compensation is based on level of candidate experience.
