Location(s): Washington Metro/Northern VA but teleworking is the preferred work method.

Salary Range: $156,323.99 - $211,497.17

Hours: Regular Full-Time

What you will be doing:

• Works closely with customers, project managers, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization’s architectural standards.
• Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget.
• Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code.
• Responsibilities may also include participation in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations

Position Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Experience:

• Has a deep understanding of system development in cloud environments, including Software as Service (SaaS), Platform as Service (PaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
• Has experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies.
• 7 years of experience; Cloud Service Platform expertise; programming language; APIs, Machine Learning/AI

Certifications:

• 8570- IAT Level II required or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Requirements:

Experience:

• Completed Tier 1 Background Investigation or above.
• A minimum of at least 3 years of Appian experience.
• A minimum of 6 years of AWS cloud architecture experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of software development experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience with JIRA

Certifications:

• At least one AWS certification
• ITIL certification (preferred)
