Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and passionate Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design and retail sales, with the ability to create stunning arrangements that meet customer needs. This role involves working closely with customers to understand their preferences, managing inventory, and maintaining the overall aesthetic of our floral displays.

Duties

• Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions including weddings, funerals, and special events.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their selections and offering expert advice on floral care.
• Manage inventory by stocking supplies, ordering new products, and ensuring that all materials are organized.
• Utilize retail math skills to maintain accurate pricing and manage sales transactions effectively.
• Promote products online and manage orders through digital platforms.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and inviting work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in floral design or a related field is preferred.
• Strong retail sales skills with an understanding of retail math concepts.
• Excellent communication skills in English. In verbal and writing.
• Preferably Bi-lingual in Spanish.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• A passion for gardening and an eye for aesthetics are essential for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
