Job Description We are seeking a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) to join our team! You will be responsible for providing a variety of professional services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The successful candidate will ensure that individuals receive quality services, develop a plan of care, and ensure that their rights are protected. The QIDP also provides guidance and support to families and other professionals.Responsibilities : Develop and implement individualized plans of careConduct assessments and evaluations to identify service needsMonitor and document the progress of individualsAdvocate for individuals in various settingsProvide training and guidance to families in the care of individualsEnsure that all services are provided in a safe and secure environmentParticipate in interdisciplinary teams to coordinate servicesProvide guidance and support to individuals and families regarding services and resourcesParticipate in professional development activitiesQualifications : Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field or related fieldMinimum two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilitiesCurrent certification as a QIDPKnowledge of relevant laws and regulations regarding services for individuals with disabilitiesExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAble to work independently and as part of a teamAble to work with a diverse populationExperience / knowledge working in a healthcare agencyAbility to prioritize and multitaskExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detailStrong organizational skillsCompany Description Jason and Ariel LLC is the parent company for Virgin Healthcare Services (VHCS).
