Major responsibilities of the front desk receptionist are: answering & directing calls in a pleasant voice & manner; take accurate messages if not directed to voicemail; maintain standards of telephone activitiy such as efficiency in answering calls; greet & direct the public in a pleasant & friendly manner; take payments from customers, resolve billing questions, reconcile daily payment report.
Qualifications are: High School Diploma or GED; thorough knowledge of the telephone system; basic knowledge of the agency management system; basic knowledge of insurance agency practices & procedures.
Experience required: One or more years as front desk receptionist preferred.
Skills & Abilities required: Strong oral communication abilities. Training & development skills required. Able to organize, coordinate & direct work flow. Able to use all related hardware & software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $2,900.00 - $3,100.00 per month
