We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. As a Service Advisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, providing accurate service recommendations, and ensuring a seamless service experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and excellent communication skills.
Duties
- Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival.
- Assess customer needs and provide accurate information regarding services, repairs, and maintenance.
- Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Prepare detailed service estimates and invoices for customers.
- Manage cash handling procedures, including processing payments and maintaining accurate records.
- Follow up with customers regarding their service experience and address any concerns or questions.
- Stay updated on dealership promotions and service offerings to effectively communicate with customers.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dealership or automotive service environment is preferred.
- Strong background in automotive service or repair.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and financial transactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- A strong understanding of automotive terminology and services is highly desirable.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license. .
- Previous Dealertrack and XTime experience preferred.
