Job Description
The foreman will be the crew leader with up to 12 employees on various construction projects. The foreman is responsible for building projects according to the superintendent’s instructions, plan reading, executing work schedule, quality control, must be highly organized, self-driven, and safety minded. Projects are located throughout the state of Iowa. Overnights may be required based on project location. Travel expenses are paid by company.
Ideal Qualifications
- Past experience in bridge construction, concrete paving, or heavy civil construction
- Past leadership experience as a foreman
- Valid driver’s license (Class A or B CDL is a plus)
- Willingness to travel around the state of Iowa
- Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet project demands
- Ability to operate construction tools and equipment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
