Job Description
The Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple construction projects, communicating with field management and senior management, communicating with owner’s representatives and engineers, managing subcontractors, plan reading, executing work schedule, project submittals, purchasing materials, assisting with estimating, and ensuring overall project safety. This individual must be highly organized, self-driven, responsible, and safety minded. Projects are located throughout the state of Iowa. Overnights may be occasionally required based on project location. Travel expenses are paid by company.
Ideal Qualifications
- Past experience in construction industry
- Past leadership experience as a Project Manager or Project Engineer
- Proficient in math and computing skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and risk management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities on different projects and stay organized
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel around the state of Iowa
