What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service position at Jasper County Appraisal District?
Primary duties: Customer service and good phone etiquette, accurately take and duplicate information, document properties and accounts and computer data entry. Assist property owners with paperwork and explanations. Filing and scanning, accurately complete and meet time deadlines. Handle stressful situations calmly and professionally. Possess and gain knowledge of, and abide by all Appraisal District Policies and Procedures. Demonstrate professionalism in conduct, appearance, and attitude toward working with the public and co-workers. Must have a clean back ground and be able to pass random drug testing.
Work experience: Must have a friendly out going personality and work well with the public.
Physical requirements: Must be able to stand for long periods of time, and be able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs. of weight.
Education/skills: High School diploma or equivalent
Mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, ratio and interest.
Computer skills: excel, word, calculator, 10 key and typing skills
