What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher position at Jasper General Hospital?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Properly operates the dish machine. Checks chemicals, temperature, and sanitizer and records on appropriate forms
- Cleans and sanitizes all trays, glassware, plates, mugs, utensils, etc. after each meal
- Properly disposes of garbage routinely throughout the day
- Prepares beverages for tray line and keeps coolers stocked with beverages
- Delivers residents / patient trays to each station
- Practices proper food safety measures
- Mops dietary department daily and as needed. Cleans any spills and uses wet floor signs appropriately.
- Delivers supplies to stations as needed
- Completes daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties as assigned
- Properly stores all food and supplies using FIFO. Labels and dates all foods prior to being stored
- Assist other staff in the Dietary Department as needed
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
