The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that products meet or exceed customer expectations through rigorous inspection, tracking, and corrective actions. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and proactive quality management throughout the production process.
Skills/Competencies:
- Experience with woodworking processes and upholstery (preferred).
- Strong math, measuring, and calibration skills.
- Proficient in reading engineering drawings and inspecting color on various materials (wood, metal, plastic, fabric).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative problem-solving abilities.
Equipment/Programs:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Skilled in using measuring tools (tape measure, caliper, ruler, squares) and inspection aids (fixtures, forms, templates, color panels, fabric swatches).
