Gas Engine Head Machining

Crawford Gas – Pod 350 Head Machining   Job Overview: Associates will utilize milling, boring and align honing machines. The associate will be using tools such as a honing bar and calibration rod. They will use precision measuring equipment to accurately machine parts to match the specs required for specific jobs. This position requires an individual with strong hand dexterity, ability to follow spec sheets, math skills and attention to detail.   Schedule:  Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm Overtime   Qualifications The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs. The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx.…8-10 hours) The ability to use handheld tools such as gauges, impact, wrenches, and drills. Standing: Frequently Walking: Occasionally Sitting: Never Stooping (forward leaning): Occasionally Reaching/Working Overhead: Occasionally   Key Job responsibilities:  Hands-on position Reading spec sheets Installing work pieces and setting tools for desired cuts Observing the operation of machine and check for problems   Salary and Benefits: Starting rate $18.25 based on experience.
