Marketing - Graphic Designer

At Jasper Engines & Transmissions, we view graphic design as visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires. We seek an experienced and talented graphic designer who can take concepts and ideas and create visual and written representations for print and digital media. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software and be skilled in every step of the design process, from the initial concept to the final deliverable. This designer must successfully collaborate with multiple teams across our company and be able to translate written or spoken ideas into designs that resonate with our audience. A solid understanding of branding and marketing is essential, along with the ability to find the right style and layout for each project. Objectives of this Role: Work on a wide range of projects and media, utilizing various software programs to develop innovative graphic designs that align with business goals. Gather input from managers to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, accurately express ideas, and represent the company appropriately. Work independently and collaboratively with our marketing team to meet deadlines, adhere to budgets, and schedule project implementation based on workload, which may involve managing multiple projects simultaneously. Review existing processes, identify issues, and create solutions to enhance design capabilities. Update and maintain internal databases for designs, photography, and video content. Responsibilities: Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams over diverse materials, including web pages, presentations, promotional collateral, signage, internal communications, newsletters, and marketing materials. Translate strategic direction into high-quality designs that align with our established brand identity. Develop concepts using design software, executing original content by selecting the ideal colors, text, font styles, imagery, and layouts. Copywriting for publications, ads, and marketing materials. Manage the design and repository uploading processes for all project materials. Required Skills and Qualifications: Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills Five or more years of experience (academic and professional) with Microsoft Office and Adobe design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills Strong organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment A desire to continue building skills through education and training Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Three or more years of experience in professional graphic design, preferably in a creative/marketing agency or commercial business A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, art, or related discipline Knowledge of WordPress and content management systems Photography experience and proficiency with photo-editing software What we offer: Starting salary commensurate with experience  Medical, dental, vision & prescription insurance after 30 days PTO 10 paid holidays after 30 days Two retirement plans (401k & Employee Stock Ownership Plan) Onsite Health Clinic & Fitness Center Personal and Professional Development  And, so much more!
