Transmission Case Inspection

Crawford – Transmission Case Inspection  Job Overview:  Associates will take the washed parts and if any parts need further cleaning, they will utilize a soda/media blaster along with a shock blaster to remove any excess dirt or rust. The parts are then checked for cracks, broken bolt holes, and other visible defects and loaded onto a cart prepping them for repairs. If needed they will repair worn bolt holes, weld cracks, sand and grind parts to a smooth finish, and many other small part repairs to return them to new condition. Parts that are not salvageable must be ordered through the use of a computer. This individual must be detail oriented, have strong hand dexterity, be computer literate, and have problem-solving skills along with preferred tig welding experience. Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm Overtime Qualifications The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 30lbs. The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx...8-10 hours) The ability to use handheld tools such as: orbital sander, bench grinder, welding torch, etc. Standing: Continuously Walking: Frequently Sitting: Never Stooping (forward leaning): Frequently Reaching/Working Overhead: Occasionally Salary and Benefits: Starting rate $18.25 based on experience.
