Jasper Engines & Transmissions is seeking a qualified individual to help lead a small team at our Denver, CO location.
Approximately 80% of the manager’s time will be involved in warehouse operations, and about 20% of the time may consist of product delivery. This position has a competitive wage with the opportunity to earn more money through audit and net profit bonuses. The position may require up to 45-hours per work week, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of additional time required for travel and as projects necessitate.
What you'll need:
Knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Teams and other software programs.
Strong communication skills are needed for constant support to drivers, outside sales reps and customers.
Ability to perform on their own and be well organized, task-oriented and detail-oriented.
Basic understanding of accounting and management skills is helpful.
Duties Include:
Daily business of a small distribution center, including management of inventory and branch supplies, distribution of product, and customer service.
Conduct interviews for drivers and warehouse support candidates to help in the recruiting process.
Supervise and provide training to branch employees.
Bank deposits and other basic accounting duties.
Ability to drive a forklift (training provided).
Willingness to be a back-up in time of absence of delivery drivers and the skill to drive a 20-24 foot box truck with a lift gate and carry a DOT medical card. Driving experience is preferred but not required.
Safe and timely delivery to our customers with a high level of customer service.
Conducting thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Maintaining a clean, professional image of self and vehicle.
No overnight shifts.
