BARISTA/MORNING BARTENDER
THE ROLE
Baristas/Bartenders report to the Restaurant General Manager and F&B managers/supervisors and works in a team environment with other servers, server assistants, bartenders, barbacks, dishwashers, cooks, and chefs. It is critical the person in this position possess a strong background in the art of coffee and tea making. Your shift begins at 6:30 AM, with the restaurant opening at 7 AM.
As a barista/bartender, you will be responsible for creating memorable guest experiences. Your interactions may be brief ones, but your guests know they can count on you to get their day started with a smile. All our service team members are expected to be reliable and responsible. You will arrive changed, polished and mentally ready to work on time. We put an emphasis on treating all of our team members just like we treat our guests- giving a smile, a helping hand, and a willingness to jump in to assist in any situation.
You will also actively develop trusting and transparent relationships with your peers on the service team and other associates of the hotel. As a team member within Aparium Hotel Group you will work with a phenomenal group of peers who insist that you are collaborative, humble, experienced and open-minded – no egos are allowed.

Your past experiences have led you to understand that there is an art science to the how and what a hospitality operation’s professional is responsible for. You are what your friends might affectionately call a “coffee nerd.” You inhale deeply every time you pass a coffee shop, taking in the rich aroma. Nothing pleases you quite as much as getting the perfect crema on your espresso pulls. Your passion for coffee is only rivaled by your passion for hospitality.
