Overview
We are seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of avionics systems in various aircraft. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, precision measuring instruments, and the ability to work with advanced technology in a fast-paced environment. The Avionics Technician will ensure that all systems meet safety and regulatory standards while adhering to AS9100 quality management requirements.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair avionics systems and components in aircraft.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate assembly and calibration of avionics equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting on electrical systems and components using an ammeter and other diagnostic tools.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret AutoCAD and CAD drawings for system installations.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Document all maintenance activities and repairs performed on aircraft avionics systems.
- Weld components as necessary for repairs or modifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in aircraft maintenance or a related field is preferred. A&P a plus
- Familiarity with AS9100 quality management standards is a plus.
- Proficient in using electrical tools and precision measuring instruments.
- Experience with AutoCAD or CAD software for interpreting technical drawings is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
