Overview
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining processes and a passion for precision work. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various types of machinery to produce high-quality components that meet strict specifications. Your expertise in reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools will be essential in ensuring that all products meet our quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including Mazatrol systems, to produce parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
- Utilize hand tools, micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.
- Fabricate components from raw materials while adhering to GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks for design purposes is preferred.
- Strong understanding of tooling, machining processes, and CNC operation.
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as micrometers and bore gauges.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints effectively.
- Knowledge of GD&T principles is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.89 - $25.46 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
