Position Details

Our client is a medical management practice with a close-knit and family-oriented team. In this role, you will play a crucial role managing accounting practices for approximately 22 businesses. As a Staff Accountant, you’ll work closely with a tight-knit finance team to support multiple businesses with financial reporting, reconciliations, and general accounting functions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with a variety of business entities. This is a newly created position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes
• Assist with financial statement preparation for multiple entities
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions as needed
• Support tax preparation, audits, and compliance
• Utilize QuickBooks Online (preferred) or other accounting software to streamline processes
• Assist in process improvements and system implementations

What We’re Looking For:

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2 years of accounting experience (public or private)
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (a plus)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and a team player
