About the Role - JAT is currently hiring for a Branded Wholesale Sales Representative. This person will drive branded fuel sales growth regionally & market brands such as Chevron, Texaco, BP, Amoco, Exxon, Mobil, Marathon, Valero, Sunoco, Citgo, & 76.
Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development
- Maintain and build relationships with an existing book of business - Priority #1
- Hunter sales mentality - New business sales and sales prospecting.
- Expand the market with new accounts.
- Build relationships with retail fuel partners – both branded and unbranded.
- Present on-premises customer solutions through prepared proposals.
- Professionally address any issues promptly - (credit, supply, pricing) that impact customer relationships and that support company policies and procedures.
- Please manage your pipeline of prospects and sales opportunities in CRM daily to support the budgeted sales growth expectations, including the following steps, correspondence, etc.
- Could you implement a sales plan for new business development of fuel sales and continued development of existing customers?
- We meet weekly at our head office in Chattanooga to discuss pipeline opportunities and performance tracking for annual goals of margin and volume sold.
- Hunter sales mentality - Prospecting, cold calling, follow up, presentation, closing new business.
- 5 years of Outside Sales & Account Management experience or 2 years of experience in bulk / wholesale fuel sales
- Strong sales and business development skills - Proven track record
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree or higher education is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and databases
