Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic HR team. This role is essential in supporting various HR functions and ensuring a smooth operational flow within the department. Responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment process by managing applicant tracking systems (ATS) and coordinating employee orientation sessions.
- Support payroll processing and maintain accurate employee records within systems like Paycor, PeopleSoft and Salesforce.
- Collaborate with team members on project management initiatives to enhance HR processes and policies.
- Maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive employee information and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and other inquiries.
- Provide administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing files.
Experience
- Previous experience in human resources or administrative roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with payroll systems, workers' compensation processes, employee benefits and employee orientation procedures is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using software tools such as Paycor, Salesforce, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong project management skills with an ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with all levels of staff.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating integrity in all aspects of the role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
