Barista and Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to provide exceptional customer service and maintain efficient operations will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately.
• Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently, ensuring accurate cash handling and transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, counters, and dining areas.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and food items.
• Handle food products safely in compliance with health regulations and company policies.
• Engage with customers to promote new products or specials, enhancing sales opportunities.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting environment.
• Proficient in basic math for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Experience with cash handling procedures and operating cash registers or POS systems.
• Knowledge of food handling practices within the food industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar systems is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
