About Us :

Java Psychiatry specializes in TMS Therapy and Medication Management for psychiatric disorders, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and the treatment of alcohol and opiate abuse. We are committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care and are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team.

Position Overview :

This is a full-time remote position. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and provide follow-up care for patients through telehealth.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, monitoring patients for efficacy and side effects.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure integrated and comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
  • Educate and support patients with health coaching and medication management.

Qualifications :

  • Masters degree in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of two years of experience providing direct care to individuals with psychiatric disorders.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
  • Strong skills in patient assessment, medication management, and health coaching.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must reside in California .
