Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the POS system efficiently to process customer orders and handle transactions accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders, and answering any questions regarding menu items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the highest quality of products served.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and notifying management when reordering is necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours while managing time effectively.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food service or retail industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash flow effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent time management skills to balance multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
