Title: Data Analyst
Location: MN/ Remote
Duration: 6 Months contract
Job Details:
As a Data Analyst supporting the IT Business Management team, you will act as a strategic partner to functional teams, responsible for improving financial efficiency and oversight of IT spend. You will be updating existing data models to align to the new IT P&L roll up and consolidation of IT s financial budgeting, planning, and forecasting process
Responsibilities
- Upgrade complex Excel spreadsheets and models used for budgeting planning
- Create advanced formulas, pivot tables, and macros to streamline account mapping
- Automate repetitive tasks and link files using macros and VBA.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all Excel-related tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and integrate data.
- Identify areas for process improvement and optimization using Excel.
- Train team members on best practices for Excel usage and data management
Skills
- Advanced Excel (Formulas, PivotTables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH)
- Budgeting, Planning and Forecasting
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Experience in automating data processes using Macros, and VBA scripting
- SQL Familiarity with SQL for database querying

Education
- Proven experience in advanced Excel functions and data analysis.
- Working knowledge of basic financial acumen
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate large datasets

- Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
