Job Title: Product Analyst

Location: Hybrid, Eagan, MN.

Duration: 4 months with possible extensions

Product Analyst The Impact You Will Have

The selected resource will research, identify and support the build of product features, and will partner with the Program Managers, Business Owners, Product Owners, and internal/vendor delivery teams.

As a Product Analyst, you will possess strong research and problem-solving skills, an understanding of software development and the ability to communicate effectively. You will ensure ongoing product support, to include story/requirements writing, documentation and testing input.

Your Responsibilities

• Responsible for gathering and interpreting data from various sources, identifying key insights, and providing actionable recommendations to drive product development and enhancement.
• Collaborate with team(s) and Stakeholder(s) to discover and deliver the best solution to the market problem(s) presented by Business or Product Owner (business).
• Working with a variety of internal and external partners to elicit and document business requirements for user stories.
• Help document the technology and business needs into requirements or product backlog stories/items.
• Aid where needed for the development team, such as answering questions on requirements and providing input on testing strategy.
• Maintain technical documentation of system and business processes.
• Build strong relationships with team members, business users, stakeholders, subject matter experts, vendors, to help navigate through problems, decisions, and related implications.

Required Skills and Experience

• 3 years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.
• Experience in both waterfall and agile development environments
• Solid analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with writing business/functional requirements and Agile methodologies
• Solid written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to negotiate expectations between multiple parties
• Exposure to process improvement with high level of execution focus preferred.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Bachelor s degree in information technology or business, technical degree or a relevant field
• Experience working in the managed care/healthcare insurance industry
