Title: Technical Writer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Onsite Role
Note: Initially, the work will be 20 hours per week for the first 2 months and then 40 hours per week for the next 4 months.
Description:
Responsible for planning, organizing, writing and editing operational, maintenance or test procedure manuals.
Research engineering schematics, technical design specifications, interface design, design diagrams and test specifications with design engineers.
Helps coordinate the layout and manual organization. Acquires and organizes basic source material, including applicable specifications, engineering write ups, and drawing packages.
Expected to apply technical writing/editing to projects with little guidance, and implement these independently.
Writes or edits small to medium sized product features, operation, maintenance or test procedure documentation of moderate complexity.
Works with other writers or editors, managers, and engineers across product teams. Sets task-level goals and consistently meets schedules.
