Must be able to stand for periods of time and lift 50lbs.
Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors and countertops.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen.
- Help with bussing tables during peak hours to ensure a smooth dining experience for guests.
- Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for service.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and cleanliness throughout the shift.
Experience
- Previous experience in food handling or food service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hospitality standards and practices is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Willingness to assist in various kitchen tasks as needed, including food preparation and catering support.
