Jawonio is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Marketing Manager to split their time between our non-profit organization (Jawonio) and our social enterprise (Brick It Again LEGO Resale Store). This individual will be responsible for managing our digital presence, driving engagement, and amplifying our mission across various social media platforms.
The ideal candidate will have experience in non-profit marketing, Shopify e-commerce, social media storytelling, and photography. They must be skilled in capturing meaningful moments, marketing events and programs, and selling the story of our organization’s mission and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Brick It Again LEGO Resale Store
• Manage and grow Brick It Again’s digital presence, including social media accounts, website, and Shopify e-commerce store.
• Capture high-quality photos and videos of products, store events, community engagement, and customer interactions for marketing content.
• Plan and execute SEO/SEM, email marketing, and social media advertising campaigns to drive store traffic and online sales.
• Engage with the LEGO enthusiast community, responding to online customer inquiries and comments in a timely manner.
• Maintain and update the Shopify e-commerce site, ensuring accurate product listings, pricing, and promotional materials.
• Promote and manage LEGO-themed events, workshops, and classes, including coordinating online registrations and social media promotions.
• Develop engaging visual and written content for print and digital marketing campaigns.
• Stay up to date with LEGO trends, product releases, and community events to incorporate relevant content into marketing strategies.
Jawonio Non-Profit Organization
• Develop and implement social media strategies that align with Jawonio’s mission, programs, and advocacy efforts.
• Capture live and behind-the-scenes moments at Jawonio events, programs, and community initiatives, ensuring key stories are shared effectively.
• Work closely with event coordinators, program directors, and leadership to market and document activities that highlight Jawonio’s impact.
• Create compelling social media content that shares success stories, client testimonials, staff highlights, and advocacy efforts.
• Manage and grow Jawonio’s presence on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok, ensuring consistent engagement and brand messaging.
• Promote fundraising campaigns, volunteer opportunities, donor spotlights, and community partnerships through social media and email marketing.
• Identify and curate content that showcases Jawonio’s services, partnerships, and advocacy work.
• Ensure brand consistency across all platforms, following Jawonio’s communication guidelines and messaging framework.
• Track engagement metrics, provide data-driven recommendations, and continuously refine strategies for increased audience reach and impact.
• Support website updates, ensuring the latest news, events, and impact stories are reflected on the Jawonio website.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, community partners, and media contacts to expand Jawonio’s digital reach.

Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills:
• 2 years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, and non-profit storytelling.
• Experience with Shopify and e-commerce management is highly preferred.
• Strong photography and videography skills, with experience using editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
• Ability to create engaging written and visual content tailored to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in social media analytics tools and a data-driven approach to content strategy.
• Experience with email marketing platforms (MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc.).
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, SEO, and digital advertising strategies.
• Passion for community engagement, advocacy, and storytelling.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events and campaigns.
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
