Event Photographer & Videographer
Join Philadelphia Eagles Hall of Fame Quarterback Ron Jaworski for his 41st Annual Celebrity Golf Challenge, happening Thursday, June 5 – Friday, June 6, 2025, in the Greater Philadelphia area. This two-day experience includes the Celebrity Pairings Party at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia and the Golf Challenge at RiverWinds Community Center, all in support of Jaws Youth Playbook, Ron’s foundation dedicated to improving the health and wellness of at-risk youth.
We’re looking for a VOLUNTEER photographer and/or videographer to help capture this exciting event! This volunteer opportunity offers hands-on experience, portfolio content/building, and the chance to support a great cause.
Responsibilities
You’ll be expected to be on-site during the scheduled times to capture photo and/or video content based on a provided shot list. This includes documenting the ambiance, key moments, and energy of both events. At minimum, we ask that 10 edited highlight photos be delivered by the end of the event, with the full gallery submitted within 5 days. If capturing video, please provide all raw footage along with a short highlight (sizzle) reel, based on a provided outline.
Exact Times & Locations:
You must be available for both:
· Thursday, June 5 – Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia (Philadelphia, PA) - 4 pm - 11:15 pm
· Friday, June 6 – RiverWinds Community Center (West Deptford, NJ) -12 pm - 2:30pm
Given our partnership, we will offer the following:
· Two (2) Tickets to the Pairings Party – Thursday, June 5
· One (1) Hotel Room @ Courtyard Marriott - Navy Yard – Thursday, June 5
· Two (2) Clubhouse Guest Passes – Friday, June 6
· One (1) Working Pass for each day
Qualifications
Photography/Videographer Skills:
- Proficiency in using a DSLR or mirrorless camera and various lenses and/or video cameras.
- Knowledge of composition, lighting, and exposure techniques.
- The ability to capture high-quality images in a variety of settings and conditions.
Equipment:
- Access to professional-grade camera/video equipment, including backup cameras and lenses.
- Lighting equipment for outdoor, indoor, and low-light situations.
- Tripods, monopods, and other essential accessories.
Portfolio:
- A strong portfolio showcasing your event photography work.
- A variety of event types (weddings, corporate events, sports, etc.) in your portfolio.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in post-processing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop) to edit and retouch photos/edit videos.
- The ability to deliver photos in various formats (RAW, JPEG, etc.) and sizes.
People Skills:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients, event organizers, and subjects.
- The ability to direct and pose individuals or groups for portrait shots.
Time Management:
- Effective time management to ensure you capture key moments during an event and meet deadlines for delivering edited photos.
Adaptability:
- The ability to adapt to different event environments and lighting conditions.
- Problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges.
Professionalism:
- A professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with clients and guests.
- The ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
