Jax is currently looking for a full time Dining Room Manager.
We are a family owned, well established, fine dining restaurant and event center operating since 1933. We pride ourselves on quality food, consistently great service, and memorable hospitality. Requirements
- Prior experience as a supervisor or manager with a stable work history
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Someone who acts with integrity and demonstrates consistent leadership
- Positive, outgoing, and encouraging
- Ability to direct, discipline, and coach employees
- Solution oriented
- Understands that customer service is the key to our business- has the ability to turn every situation into a positive memory
- Availability to work Wednesday through Sunday AM shifts, some PM shifts, and Holidays (Jax is closed on Mondays & Tuesdays)
- Able to work 40-45 hours /week
- General computer skills
- Basic wine knowledge
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily dining room operations, ensuring exceptional service and guest satisfaction.
- Train and manage staff, fostering a positive team environment.
- Maintain inventory control and manage food service logistics.
- Implement and uphold food safety and hygiene standards.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and guests regarding menu offerings and wine selections.
- Utilize computer systems for reservations and POS transactions.
