The IT Manager works in the office at our Support Center in Laporte, CO, where JAX Team Members support our stores in providing excellent customer service. This role coordinates resources to provide technical support, responds quickly to solve problems, and plans, organizes and prioritizes projects for continuous improvement. Leading the IT Support Team, this role ensures that our network, servers, hardware, software, and all applications are operating and consistent with the strategic focus of JAX Mercantile Company.
Duties and responsibilities include :
- Troubleshoots network and servers to promote the smooth operation of existing systems.
- Guides, motivates and supports the IT Team and their work.
- Ensures hardware, software, and applications used for day-to-day business are functional and are operating efficiently.
- Researches to find solutions and troubleshoot challenges that occur with system integration.
- Adapts readily to new initiatives or direction, providing helpful advice to move the organization forward.
- Determines priority and execution for store locations to meet IT needs in a timely manner.
- Shares on-call responsibility with the IT Team, responding quickly to urgent issues.
- Monitors ticketing system to ensure distribution, prioritization and communication of problem-solving for outstanding issues.
- Provides SOPs and other documentation for phone systems, network equipment, asset tracking, system upgrades, etc.
- Communicates professionally, presenting a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Takes steps to advance teamwork and develop solid working relationships with co-workers.
Our ideal candidate has prior customer service experience, and is willing to pitch-in where needed, even helping with the occasional office cleaning. Additional knowledge, skills or abilities include :

Pay Range : $65,000 - $85,000 annually
