NOW HIRING… Energetic, dynamic, positive, and enthusiastic commercial project coordinator / sales / estimator to join the leading flooring contractor in the St. Louis Metro and surround areas.
Summary : Provides customer support to both internal and external customers; purchasing support; coordinates computer takeoffs & schedules for house accounts and sales administration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following :
Other duties may be assigned.
Inside and Outside Estimating. Generate and obtain residential, commercial, new construction and retail bids and proposals.
Receive & verify PO’s & ITB’s & RFI’s from builders or general contractors.
Communicating with all relevant people and departments (sales, operations, management) and coordinating all relevant inputs for scheduling.
Reads blueprints and selects appropriate insulation based on space characteristics and the heat-retaining or excluding characteristics of the material.
Offers flexible and helpful customer service to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Help maintain the current customer base through customer service and quality of product and help retain possible new customer base generating sales.
Generates timely bids and accurate proposals and takeoffs of commercial and residential projects.
Measure residential / commercial and builder jobs additional job site measures as needed; and review of field measurements by providing oversight to the appropriate internal administrative personnel.
Process Job Files, provide accurate cut sheets and appropriate paperwork to administrative staff for job deliveries and installation.

Qualifications :
Ideally educated with associate degree or better; or have relevant professional work experience preferred.
Knowledge of the builder markets and “order to ship” process a plus.
Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in installation, standard construction or repair of houses & buildings
PlanSwift Takeoff / measure software experience a plus.
Possess strong computer skills, blueprint ready software, and competency in basic MS Office applications (outlook, excel, word)
BPI Certified professional in Building Analyst & Envelope, RSNET Qualified, or similar building science education are a plus.
Have basic blueprint reading abilities to direct the floor selling process.
Offers flexible and helpful customer service to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
