Job Title: Commercial Appliance Field Service Technician
Location: Remote commutable to New Jersey
Hours: M-F 6:00am – 6:00pm
Salary: $30 -$45 / hourly plus overtime

Jay Hill Repairs (https://jayhillrepairs.com), serving New Jersey since 1972, is seeking Cooking Field Service Technicians to join our dynamic team in serving commercial kitchens throughout New Jersey, Southeastern PA and parts of NY state.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks on commercial cooking equipment.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service while working on-site at various locations.
- Ensure compliance with EPA regulations and equipment manufacturer guidelines.
- Drive company van to different job sites and possess a valid driver's license.
- Conduct equipment repairs following CFESA guidelines and industry standards.
Desired Skills & Abilities:
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Commercial Cooking equipment repair.
- Knowledge/experience in Installation and Diagnosis of Commercial Cooking Equipment.
- Must have Strong Gas, Electric and Steam Equipment Knowledge.
- Superior Customer Service Skills.
- Must Have Own Set of Professional Tools.
- Factory Training or CFESA Certifications a Plus.
- Strong Mechanical Skills - HVAC Experience a Plus.
- Valid Driver’s License with Clean Driving Record.
- Clean Drug Screening and clean background check.
- Ability to lift 75lbs by yourself.
- Ability to work in crouched position for an extended period.
- Ability to work in a hot kitchen.
- Ability to safely climb up and down ladders with tools or equipment.
Pay Range
USD $30.00 - USD $45.00 /Hr.Salary : $30 - $45
