Position Summary:
Reporting to the Manager, the Coordinator will support the manager/ supervisor with the training process and gather supporting documentation during the onboarding process of the DSP assisting with the submission of the intake, assessment paperwork and individual support plan paperwork is submitted on a timely basis and within required deadlines. The role requires assisting supervisor with the training of a DSP, while supporting the supervisor with accurate and timely reporting to funding sources on the progress and goals of the individuals. Auditing and reviewing all authorizations in support of the manager/ supervisor for services from the regional center. This role includes supporting the management team with community engagement meetings and scheduling QA visits with families to build relationships. The coordinator maintains strong communication skills which are essential to support a team that delivers high-quality, person-centered services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist manager and supervisor in mentoring new and existing direct support professionals in service delivery and compliance.
• Gather and submit all reports, ISP’s and progress reports after review by the manager for submission to regional centers or other funding sources.
• Gather mileage from the direct support staff for approval by the manager.
• Assist and ensure support of the DSP staff follows policies and procedures in accordance with the provision of quality support services to individuals ensuring seamless service delivery.
• Assist manager/supervisor with follow-up of staff training schedules communicating with training
• Gather and review weekly schedules, case notes and communicate with the eRSP team any changes
• Assist with contacting and communicating timely information to families
• Assist in scheduling QA visits with individuals monthly and gathering documentation as required for the manager
• Attend and actively participate in supervisor meetings and team meetings.
• Provide QA support and follow -up on authorizations to ensure timely payments and compliance.
Qualifications:
• Education: AA degree preferred in social work, psychology, human services, or a related field required.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in supporting individuals within the human services field, preferably working with the neurodiverse population. Experience with regional center funding and adaptive skills programs is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of appropriate, non-invasive behavioral supports
• Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
• Other: Knowledge of regional center services or other social service programs related to service delivery for neurodiverse populations. Must be detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid Driver’s License, working vehicle and proof of insurance.

Salary : $66,560 - $68,000
