The Food Service Shipper / Receiver compiles records concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing and shipping food and beverage materials, supplies and equipment by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, other duties may be assigned)

• Compiles data from sources such as purchase orders, invoices and requisitions and writes, types or enters information into computer to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping or other records.
• Fulfills delivery of food and beverage related stock to various locations around the resort.
• Keeps stock established sequence and releases older stock for use first to avoid waste where possible.
• Prepares requisitions for delivery to resort locations, orders or other documents for purchasing or requisitioning new or additional stock items.
• Reviews files to determine unused items and recommends disposal of excess stock.
• Signs for orders received from delivery trucks, notates / receives credit slips from driver and immediately notifies supervisor.
• Maintains all storage areas, coolers, freezers and loading docks in a clean, safe and sanitary condition.
