High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Languages:

A Server at Jay Peak Resort takes orders for and serves meals to patrons in the dining room in a professional, friendly and courteous manner. The role requires a strong knowledge of food, beer, wine, and alcohol menus, as well as excellent customer service skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Takes food and drink orders and enters them into the Point of Sales system for transmittal to the kitchen staff.
- Engages with guests in a friendly manner and ensures excellent guest service.
- Possesses a knowledge of the menu and makes recommendations to guests.
- Follows and enforces allergy policies and protocols.
- Servicing guests by taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Preparing checks and collecting payment appropriately and accurately.
- Maintaining side work throughout shift and ensuring a clean restaurant environment.
