What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Service Worker position at Jay’s BBQ Shack?
**WORK DAYS: WED-SAT A MUST 7:30-3:00; SUN - TUES OFF**
Main Duties:
- Passing out food/beverages at pickup window during busy lunch hours
- Double checking each order is correct before giving to customer
- Light food prep
- Multi-task
- Learning Register as well as taking orders
- Clean and maintain an organized station daily
- Restock drinks/shelves daily
- Responsible for weekly inventory of products
Must Haves:
- The ability to be cross trained in all areas of the business
- Be willing to perform other duties or assignments such as cleaning and conversing with customers
- Willingness to clean, follow directions and learn new things
- Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs.
- Must be able to stand 6-8 hours/day
- A friendly & positive attitude
- Must be able to work independently
- Reliable transportation
- Verifiable references
- Agree to background check
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must complete Food Handlers/TABC certificate within 2 weeks of hire date
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour

- Food preparation: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Food Handler Certification (Preferred)
- TABC Certified (Preferred)
